I don't even remember this song. It showed up on my Facebook memories. I shared it again. I'm glad I listened to it again. I like it.
❤
This is amazing.
Glad I found this corner of RUclips. <3

Snoop dogg would murder this
Straight heat
Common? Badu? Tip? Pharrell? On the same joint? That’s a hit kid!!!
Probably the most iconic horror score/soundtrack of all time. These original pressings are quite hard to find these days.
High school Band Room
The Talking Toilets be like:
❤❤❤❤❤❤
this track was always so odd to me
As someone from Bakersfield, I approve.
What's interesting is that growing up a teen and adulthood in the mid/late 90s and 2000s, I got into slow jam oldies music. Started hearing it on the radio every night. Thats how I started matching songs with the singer/bands. Then expanded my knowledge through finding other bands with similar styles. I rarely heard Sun band but they have so many similarities with the Stylistics, Earth Wind and Fire, as well as others, but for some reason Sun weren't as mixed in with slow jam oldies music. It took me a long time to find out about Sun. I just happened to hear one of their songs outside of the slow jam oldies radio late night hours, this song, and couldn't recognize the the artist/band, so I thought it had to be a new age group with an old school soul. I was surprised they were from the same era. I was kinda embarrassed I didn't know about them. Now I wonder if there's other artists/bands that fell through the cracks in hearing their music and I'm missing out on great slow jam oldies music.
I know whats right for me!! Sounds like the anthem you play when you are a teenager growing up and you feel like you are always right and no on can tell you better. Such a Angsty yet phenomenal piece of work. Only the greats like Kevin Parker can fathom such a sound. Super wavy and classic hit! Three cheers for this music to live forever!!!
Great sounding & band ✨🎶🎵
Low Riding in the 70s
I had a choice, sun is here, and this jam. Memories of my youth.
One of the best remixes hands down WV dc area ❤
didn’t they use this Qtip rap on the TI why you wanna remix …. 🤔 🤔
badass music
WoW
My mom had I'm In Gear on an old cassette recorded off the radio in the 80s, without knowing the artist or the title for sure When she tried to use Shazam/SoundHound like a decade or so back, the quality wasn't good enough to get an answer Tonight while watching a video about a mysterious song off an 80s cassette I decided to try for at least the 4th or 5th time to Google And I finally got the answer, and was able to solve her 30-40 year mystery

New Birth's instrumental foundation.
From 1974: I wonder how Brian, brother Eddie and Lamont Dozier would have done as a singing group as opposed to short-lived solo careers after Motown songwriting for Berry Gordy.
nice deep cuts, sweet
First time hearing this. Way better than the original. I love this!
😴🪬
One of the best , ever.
2024 whos still here?
FOREVER!
Still 🔥🔥🔥
Jus had to put someone on to this 🔥🔥
If he ever quits making music I would be bummed, this is another banger on top of his other ones.
Thank you sharing. It is an absolute beauty to behold.
This is the version!! Nice
❤
Can you spit this no cheating.?. Me neither. YET.
Lovee
Art of noise yeah baby legs
Yum yum
A pretty good cover. The original Jimi Hendrix version is, well, yeah, better.
Yeah but this one is gooooooood ! Let Miller take over … Like the organ too !
this album has an old school saturated tape quality reminiscent of the late 60s-early 70s that's very difficult to replicate. I'll never understand how Kevin did this with such minimal resources at the time
At Club Zanzibar in Newark tee Scott used play this song in such away you could never forget it ,the echo chamber on the breakdown was Incredible
I like the intro on this better than the original version.
I just bought a sealed copy of this cassette off of ebay. 🤣 It's so good! Vastly underrated
Wow, sounds like ABC indeed. Other little themes that returned later...
Remembering our days at the Branksome Railway.. in the early sixties.

Heard this at night "on skip" in Upstate NY on "The Big 8...CKLW (Song was # 9 0n The Big 30 in The Motor City)! Great memories of when the music was THE BEST!!
